Interclan Ladder Information

An extra 10 man game server has been obtained for the ladder and will be available for practice. The IP Address is: 8.12.71.58 The map rotation will be fixed to the maps available for the scrims. All participating members will be given a Rcon Tool that will allow them to change/restart the map at their discretion. Abuse of the tool will result in it's removal. The server will be password protected and the password will be emailed to each participating Team Member. The server is intended for GCC members only.

New teams may join at any time!!

Rules to the ladder.

1. Teams can challenge any two positions ahead of them on the ladder. The initial team position will be determined by pulling numbers from a hat. An announcement of the Team Positions will published in the Members Only area of the Forums under CTF Inner Clan Scrims.

2. A challenge must be accepted and played within one week or a forfeit may be invoked at the discretion of the GOA. IF both teams and the GOA agree, a forfeiture may be extended a maximum of 1 week under extreme extenuating circumstances. A team may accept only one challenge match per week. Any additional challenges should be scheduled as soon as convenient in the following week. It should be emphasized that the goal of the ladder is to provide a forum for competitive matches, and consequently, a forfeit will be declared only as a last result. IF a team forfeits, they will loose 2 positions on the leader board. All teams above them will remain in place and advance 1 position.

3. Interpretation of Rule: If in a given calendar week a team is unable to obtain an opponent by Rule 2, the team may challenge the next highest ranked team in the ladder until a challenge is accepted. It is not permissible to skip over a challenge to a team in the sequential ladder order who are ready and willing to play during the week a match is desired. The match result shall be revoked if the team affected by the match outcome contests the result and the GOA confirms that the team was not given a match opportunity.

4. Challenge matches cannot be cancelled due to changes in the ladder. For example: on Monday, team M1 (#5) challenges team Big Red One (#3) and schedules a match for the following Friday. On Wednesday, Big Red One (#3) challenges and defeats team Suicide Naders (#1). Now team Big Red One (#1) is apparently out of team M1’s(#5) range. However, since the challenge was properly made and accepted, team Big Red One is obligated

5. Southern France, Destroyed Village or Bazaar will be the maps used for the scrims. The flag locations will be fixed and are in stock positions. The team who is challenged has the choice of the map to be played. The challenging team picks Allies or Axis as their staring team. Teams MUST be in separate TeamSpeak Channels. Observers, if allowed, may NOT be in either of the TS Channels the match contestants are using.

6. If the challenging team is the winner, the loosing team will take the challenger's position on the rank list. If the challenging team loses, no movement occurs between the two teams.

7. Once the match is completed, the loser may not rechallenge the winner for at least two weeks.

8. Game type is CTF, no respawn counts so you had better watch out for it!! Teams will play each map twice, with each team getting a chance on Allies and Axis. All ties must play the same map with the teams in the same starting configuration as the first map. (i.e., if the challenging team played the first map as Axis, they play the tie breaker as Axis.) The first team to score, wins the match! Maps are 12 minutes with 5 min overtime and 2 min no respawn.
